Module DescriptionThis module deals with advanced aspects of mobile communication with a special focus on newer research areas such as Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs). New approaches and challenges are presented to deal with the contraints and requirements of mobile communication networks.
Module OutcomesOn completion of this module, the students have a deep understanding of recent advances and research trends in the area of mobile communication. The students are able to identify and recognise typical wireless communication problems and to provide solutions or approaches to overcome these problems.
